JOIN USA 33-year-old sales executive hanged himself to death after learning that his wife was having an affair with another man at NGEF Layout in Jnanabharathi police limits on Wednesday.
Mukund, who was working for a mobile phone company in Electronics City, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his residence in NGEF Layout.
Around four years ago, he married Chudamani, a lecturer in a private college. She told him that she wanted to stay away from him to pursue further studies as family life would disturb her education.
To his horror, on Wednesday, he learnt that his wife was living with another man. He then came home and hanged himself.
The neighbours found his body hanging from the fan and alerted the police. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
The police have found a suicide note that was addressed to Mukund’s father. According to the note, he was upset because his wife had deserted him.
