Of a bygone season

Our usual Christmas preparations begin as early as November — with singing practices, planning for the decorations, Christmas shopping, carol singing, cleaning up the house and setting up the crib.

On Christmas vigil, we attend the mass and thereafter we invite our friends and families and have a get together at home.  It is more like a potluck where everyone gets food cooked in their respective homes and we celebrate with wine, cakes, and sing carols all through the night till dawn.

On the day of Christmas we drive down to Kolar Gold Fields to meet relatives and spend time with them.  This Christmas we look forward to helping those in need.
