Genpact to hire 10,000 biz analysts in 2016
Business solution provider Genpact will be hiring 10,000 professionals all over the country and at least 3,000 here during the year 2016.

In addition to the centre here, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Bengaluru, Genpact is keen on setting up one more centre in the country. This was disclosed by Amit Bhaskar, Vice president and head financial services Analytics at Genpact, here on Monday.

Genpact has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the ICFAI Business School (IBS), here to develop an analytics and research programme for its students. Amit has said that Genpact, which has a talent pool of 75,000 professionals worldwide, says that there is increasing demand for business analysts everywhere. “Genpact alone hires 1,400 to 1,500 in analytics every year globally,” he said.

As part of  the MoU, experts from Genpact will train students of MBA at the IBS. A significant number could be absorbed into Genpact. However, the student is free to choose, said Amit Bhaskar.

He said, “It is a win-win situation for the IBS by entering into industry-institution partnership. Genpact will not only review the course work here but also send professionals to give guest lectures,” S Venkata Seshaiah, Director, IBS Hyderabad, said.

He says that the students enrolled in Doctoral and MBA programmes at the campus can have Analytics as an elective in their curriculum.
