F-1 crisis over temporarily

Last Updated 29 May 2009, 16:23 IST

A statement by the Formula One Teams Association (FOTA) said all of its members had met a deadline imposed by the governing International Automobile Federation.

Ferrari, former champions Renault, Toyota and the two Red Bull teams had threatened to walk away if the 2010 regulations were not rewritten in a row over a proposed 40 million pound ($64.14 million) budget cap.

FOTA said the entries were submitted on the understanding that all members would be allowed to compete in 2010 on an identical regulatory basis and that they could only be accepted as a whole.
