UP minister sacked over Ram temple

A Uttar Pradesh status rank minister and a close confidante of the Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav was sacked after he appealed to the Muslims to perform “karseva” (voluntary service) for construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya and a SriKrishna temple at Mathura.

Om Pal Nehra, an advisor in the entertainment department, had while addressing a meeting at Bijnore on Thursday evening, said outfits like the VHP could be rendered useless if the Muslims came forward to build the Ram Temple and Krishna Temple.
