Rowdy-sheeter hacked to death by brother, friends

A rowdy-sheeter (28) was hacked to death by his brother and his friends in his residence in GKW Layout near Peenya in the early hours of Friday.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Narasimha alias Kariya, a rowdy-sheeter at the Rajagopala Nagar police station. Chandru, Narasimha’s brother, and his two friends assaulted Narasimha with a machete.

They were arrested when they were trying to flee, after the incident. Chandru and Narasimha quarreled frequently over the sale of their house, which was in their mother’s name. Narasimha was looking for suitable customers to sell the house, while Chandru was against it. Around 12.30 am, Chandru and his two friends came home in an inebriated state and picked a fight with Narasimha over the same issue.

In a fit of rage, Chandru took a machete and hit Narasimha on his head. Chandru and his friends repeatedly assaulted Narasimha, who succumbed to injuries. Hearing the commotion, neighbours rushed to their house and found Narasimha lying in a pool of blood. They informed the police, who shifted the body to a hospital.
A case has been registered at the Rajagopala Nagar police station.
