JOIN USA 45-year-old woman’s body was found floating in Sankey Tank under the Sadashivanagar police limits on Wednesday.
According to the police, the deceased is Pushpa, a resident of Vyalikaval. On Tuesday night, she left home without informing anyone and had come to Sankey Tank. On Wednesday morning, her body was found floating in the lake and the police were informed. It is yet to be confirmed if she committed suicide or accidentally fell into the lake.
The body was shifted for post-mortem and her family was informed. The family told the police that she was mentally unstable and that she used to often go out of the house and would never come back. The family had to trace her and bring her back home. This time too, she left home and the family members were looking for her everywhere, added the police.
A case has been registered in the Sadashivanagar police station.
