Couple's lifestyle surprises cops

Police have ruled out the possibility of murder for gain as the assailants have not taken away any valuables. The injuries on the body of Amrit clearly indicated that the assailants were firm on eliminating him. Amrith's wife, Janaki (23) had offered resistance before she was murdered. Amrith's body was found on road side near Agara Lake while her body was tucked under a cot at their residence.

The police are also baffled with life style as they found that Amrith had more than two dozen expensive suits, a four-wheeler, high-end two-wheeler and consumed expensive whisky.

There was no forced entry into the house. The police found that the Pomeranian dog was in the toilet as the couple was in the habit of tying the pet in the toilet before going to sleep.
Sources said Amrith's friends were in the habit of consuming ganja.
Police are probing as to who was murdered first. This would help them to decide whether Amrith, a well-built man, was tortured to death inside the car. They suspect that at least three persons were involved in the crime.
