JOIN USLakshmi Vilas Bank on Friday said that its net profit for the quarter ended December 15, 2016, was up 41.49 per cent, year-on-year.
The operating profit of the bank for the nine months ended December 15, was up by 19.02 per cent, while the net profit grew by 42.24 per cent, year-on-year.
The total interest income stood at Rs 1,901.97 crore, posting a growth of 15.72 per cent, compared with the same period, previous year. Other income grew 11 per cent, and stood at Rs 212.02 crore, compared with Rs 191.01 crore during the same period, previous year.
Total income, which registered a growth of 15.23 per cent, stood at Rs 2,113.99 crore compared with Rs 1,834 crore during the same period, previous year. Net interest income recorded a year-on-year growth of 21.87 per cent from Rs 387.78 crore to Rs 472.61 crore.
Operating profit has grown by 19.02 per cent, and stood at Rs 312.98 crore as against Rs 262.96 crore during the same period, previous year.
