Toy train shortly at Kadri Park

Prominence has been given to the development and beautification of Kadri Park, said District In-Charge Minister B Ramanath Rai.

He was speaking after inaugurating the entrance gate of the park built at a cost of Rs 28 lakh under MLALAD of legislator J R Lobo.

“The entrance gate has given a new look to the Kadri Park. Along with taking up development works, there is also a need to maintain cleanliness in the park,” he said.

MLA J R Lobo said, “The railways have prepared a estimate of Rs 80 lakh for the bogies and tracks of toy train. The toy train will chug at the park shortly.” Mayor Jacintha Vijay Alfred and others were present.
