JOIN USA few unidentified persons broke into an apparel showroom and made away with Rs 5 lakh cash. The burglary occurred at the Raymonds showroom at BDA complex under Jnanabharathi police limits in the early hours of Thursday.
The police said that the burglars had entered the showroom through the toilet window. They broke open the cash box and made away with Rs 5 lakh cash.
The incident came to light when the employees opened the showroom and found that the clothes were strewn all over and the money was missing from the cash box.
They informed the police, who visited the spot with the finger print experts and dog squad. The miscreants had entered through the window in the toilet by breaking the window grills.
Also they broke the toilet door and went inside the showroom and made away with the cash. The CCTV footage is being examined and also the security guards at the BDA complex are being questioned, added the police.
