Turkey on a platter

Festival delights

Indo-Turkish Festival of Language and Culture by Educational Endowment Trust (EET) will be held at Chowdiah Memorial Hall on February 6, 7 pm.

This will be followed by home-made authentic Turkish delicacies by their Turk staff. The money raised from the sale of food will be used for educating children by EET.

EET brings this year’s national level IFLC to the garden city as Indo-Turkish Festival of Language and Culture thanks to its green culture and unique heritage. Previous IFLCs were conducted in Thailand, Philippines, South Africa and more.

The event will help in bridging the yawning cultural gaps in-between and foster the bilateral ties.  The event will  pack the Indian and Turkish cultural folk dances and music.  Apart from this, authentic and genuine Turkish cuisines hand-cooked by Turk ladies will add a new taste to this event.

The food stalls will be set up outside the auditorium on the side lawns and home cooked Turkish food will be served.

Entry is free for the cultural event, but food is available on payment.
