Mexico's swine flu death toll reaches 97

The number of confirmed cases rose to 4,932 from 4,879, as scientists analyzed a backlog of cases.
Bolivia meanwhile became the latest Latin American country to establish the presence of A(H1N1) since the outbreak was first confirmed in Mexico in late April, with its first two cases confirmed.

Health officials around the world battled to stop the spread of swine flu with schools in Europe closed, and global infections passing the 15,000-mark.
