Ishanya works to reposition brand

Ishanya, a concept mall for home interiors and design, is aiming to be recognised as a market leader in the space by fiscal year 2017-18, said its Chief Executive Officer Mahesh M.

In an interaction with Deccan Herald, Mahesh said that the company is already working on a repositioning strategy, since the past six months.

“The work for repositioning has intensified in the past week, as we are approaching a new fiscal year. We will complete our repositioning by the end of FY16-17,” said Mahesh, adding,
The company is planning to complete its repositioning in three phases, which it calls — Mall Refresh, Brand Refresh and Consumer Refresh.

“In Mall Refresh, we are focussing more towards our physical presence, while in Brand Refresh, we will focus more on positioning of our brand. In the third phase of Consumer Refresh, we will focus on our relationship with our customers,” said Mahesh.

Ishanya focusses on retail customers in the home interiors and design segment in Pune. The company has raised Rs 250 crore, since inception and has a total retail space of 4.5 lakh sq feet.
