JOIN USA drunk woman went berserk after losing control over her vehicle and rammed into three cars on Residency Road on Sunday evening.
According to police, Abhilasha Sethi, a native of Delhi and a resident of Yelahanka, is working for Indigo Airlines. Around 6 pm, she was driving her car along with a couple of her friends. As soon as she reached Residency Road, she lost control over her vehicle and rammed it into three cars at the traffic signal.
Passersby and the drivers of the damaged cars informed the police, who rushed to the spot and detained Abhilasha. She was subjected to breathalyser test and it was found that she had consumed 140 mg alcohol. Her car, bearing Delhi registration number, was seized and she was taken into custody.
Abhilasha claimed that she was in a hurry to go to a hospital to visit one of her injured friends after attending a party when the accident occurred, said the police.
Based on the complaint lodged by the drivers of the damaged cars, Abhilasha has been detained. A case has been registered at the Ashok Nagar traffic police station.
