After he joined the Indian Army MEG in 2003, he has been a part of the services team and has been representing the nation in various State, national and international sports tournaments. He never looked back since then. So far, he has taken part in five international sports tournaments. He also took part in the Asian Championship 2010 held in China.

The services team won gold, defeating Pakistan in the finals of the South Asian Beach Games 2011-12 in Sri Lanka.

The team also went on to bag the gold in the South Asian Championship 2013-14 in Noida, again defeating Pakistan. During the finals of the handball tournament at the 12th South Asian Games in Guwahati, Assam, India defeated Pakistan by a goal and won the gold medal.

Greenidge D’Cunha has led the Indian team in the 16th Asian Games in South Korea as well.

Greenidge D’Cunha’s father Peter D’Cunha is well recognised as ‘Kabaddi Pedru’ after his achievement in the State-level Kabaddi tournament.

Inspired by his father, Greenidge involved himself in Kabaddi and took part in the Schoolchildren’s National-level Kabaddi tournament held in Bengaluru.
