Various social events including a musical evening by the air warrior symphony orchestra were conducted at the depot premises.
An Air Force ball was also organised at Trinity Officers Mess. Air Marshal P V Athawale, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command and Neelima Athawale graced the occasion. A reunion of retired personnel below officer’s rank and civilians was also organised.
The depot was established in 1960 to facilitate business transaction between Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the IAF.
