Bengaluru leg of Audi quattro Cup '16

The Indian edition of the Audi quattro Cup concluded at the pristine Prestige Golfshire with Audi Bengaluru hosting the second leg of the ninth edition over two days here recently. 

The Audi quattro Cup has clearly emerged as the cream of corporate golf events and this season will see the participation of around 1500 golfers and travel to 10 other cities making it a nation-wide event over a total of 13 legs.

Going into the 9th season in India, we are pleased that the tournament has globally emerged as not just a popular sporting event but also as an ideal opportunity to intensify business relationships and establish new contacts.” said Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India.

The duo of Hitesh Joshi and K Chandra Prakash became the second team from Bengaluru to qualify for the India final after emerging as the top team amongst the Audi owners as well as the overall winners at the seventh leg of the Audi quattro Cup 2016. In the qualifying round held at the Prestige Golfshire,  Hitesh and Chandraprakash combined to score a total of 69 Stableford points to emerge champions. Audi Bengaluru hosted Bengaluru leg of the multi-city event.

 The duo of Arvind Rathore and Shankar Gopal emerged as the runner-up team pipping the all-lady team of Anita Shrishrimal and Veena Muralidhar on a countback after logging 66 points. Hitesh and Chandraprakash joined the duo of the first round winners V Theertha Prasad and Karan Singhvi who will be playing the National final.
