Nominations invited for Florence Nightingale Awards

The Anglo-Indian Unity Centre has invited nominations for the Florence Nightingale Awards 2016 from nurses working in governmental or non-governmental organisations and also nursing educators working in nursing schools or colleges in Karnataka.

The award was instituted in 2000 by the Anglo-Indian Unity Centre for nursing professionals in the State in recognition of their selfless service to society.

The various categories of awards include BSc Nursing, General Nursing, Midwifery, Staff Nurse, Principal or Lecturer of Nursing Institutions, Nursing Superintendent and an award for a nurse from the Anglo-Indian community. The Florence Nightingale award is now given by the Anglo Indian Unity Centre in association with the Department of Health and Family Welfare of the State government.
