In the future the BGS school will initiate several welfare programmes.However, the cooperation of the local people is required for the implementation and success of the welfare programmes, he observed.
Also speaking on the occasion, Vokkaliga leader and social worker Yalavalli Ramesh said that the Central and State Vokkaligara Sangha would grant Rs 10 and 15 lakh rupees for the construction of a marriage hall in the city. Sites will be purchased for the construction of the marriage hall and the women’s hostel and it will be registered in the name of the Vokkaligara Sangha.
