Rotary Centennial Peace Symposium

 Rotary Bengaluru, Indiranagar, with the support of Rotary South Asia Office and in association with Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) has organised the two-day “Rotary Centennial Peace Symposium” on Friday at Chowdiah Memorial Hall and on Saturday at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan premises, to commemorate 99 years of Rotary Foundation Service to Humanity (RFSH).

The event has been planned to promote participation in peace efforts by members and well meaning citizens. The event is supported by Prestige Group, Bangalore.

Rotary Foundation Trustee Rotarian Sushil Gupta will inaugurate the two-day event in the presence of District Governor Rotarian Flt Lt K P Nagesh and office-bearers of BVB. Entry to this two-day festival is open to all.

Panel discussions will be held on Saturday at BVB’s Khincha auditorium with participation of eminent multi-religious scholars like Dr Chiranjeev Singh, former Ambassador to UNESCO, Swami Shanthimayananda of Ramakrishna Math, Benglauru, Venerable Ananda Bhanteji, general secretary of Maha Bodhi Society, Dr Hampa Nagarajaiah, renowned scholar, Rev Fr Dr Eugene Lobo, PRO, Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishop’s Council, and Dr Syed Ejazuddin Ashrafi, Retd professor and Former MLC, on various components of peace.
