Two employees of a private firm have been arrested for raping a woman from Maharashtra who had approached them for a job.

The victim stated in her complaint to the police that three men raped her at their home on April 25 when she went there to submit her documents for a job. The woman, who had arrived in Bengaluru recently, told the police that she had got in touch with the trio through a Nepalese woman friend.

The suspects, who hail from Rajasthan, had known the Nepalese woman for the last four years.
They met the victim at the house of the Nepalese woman and got her mobile phone number. They told her that they held managerial positions in a company and could get her a job.
On April 25, they asked her to meet them at their house in Bommanahalli, south Bengaluru, and bring the necessary documents. But when she went there, they gang-raped her. They then forced her out of the house.

She was so distraught after the incident that she could barely walk on her own. Policemen on patrol saw her and enquired with her. She narrated the incident and the police registered a case.

They then arrested the suspects. Two of them were identified as Ramesh and Deepak, both residents of Bandepalya on Hosur Road. Their third accomplice is missing.
