JOIN USManipal Group of Institutions, Manipal, observed the Founder’s Day, the 118th birth anniversary of Dr TMA Pai, recently.
The programmes began with bhajans and tributes were paid to Dr Pai at different venues. Minister for Urban Development Vinay Kumar Sorake, said Dr Pai was a visionary. He spoke of how he reigned in illiteracy, ill-health and poverty in the region.
The Founder’s Day awards were presented to achievers on the occasion. They are:
