JOIN USIntensifying her campaign, AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa started her non-stop campaign covering all the 16 constituencies in the metropolis on a single day.
Jayalalithaa addressed voters at 42 places across Chennai and its surroundings from her campaign van and appealed to the citizens to vote for AIADMK candidates to ensure continuance of the five year rule of AIADMK during which several welfare schemes were launched.
The chief minister, who had already addressed a public meeting in the city and met the voters of R K Nagar, from where she is seeking re-election, hit the campaign trail with a brief address at Dr Radhakrishnan Salai, before covering the entire city and 16 constituencies.
In her final programme, Jayalalithaa would campaign in the southern Tirunelveli district on Thursday and would meet electorates at 20 places.
