Innovate for success in life, says space scientist Annadurai

Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) Satellite Centre Director Dr M Annadurai said living standards of poor have to be improved to build a healthy society.

 Speaking at a programme organised to present degrees to BE, MTech and MBA students of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology (AIT) here on Friday, he said poverty and corruption are haunting the country.

The educated should not only improve their living standard, but also try to improve the living standard of others. There is a need work towards peace in the society, he observed.

He said that all those who have completed technical education should innovate and achieve success in life.

Moon Mission (Chandrayan) and Mars Mission (Mangalyan), which were considered impossible have been made possible only through innovation and hard work, he remarked.

Expert human resources are essential in all the walks of life. Human resource is an asset for the development of a country, he added.

Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Nirmalanandanatha Swami said science and spirituality are inter-related.

Spirituality is a power which provides solutions to problems.  There is a need to give emphasis to positive factors in life and march ahead, he added.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade said emphasis should be laid on research. Top scorers in seventh and eighth semesters were felicitated on the occasion.
