JOIN USA superb all-round performance from Munim Mehdi helped Vultures Cricket Club emerge champions in the under-17 Tiger Cup after they beat Neptune Cricket Club convincingly by 34 runs.
Propelled by Munim’s 76, Vultures posted a daunting total 190 for six in 30 overs. Nandan shone with the ball for Neptune, picking up two for 41.
In response, Neptune were stifled as Munim bagged three for 27 and could manage only 156 for nine. Aryaman scored a valiant 58 but it went in vain as Vultures hoisted the trophy.
Munim was also awarded the man of the match award for his efforts.
