Apartment manager molests woman in her flat

 The manager of an apartment block in Hennur was arrested on the charge of attempting to molest a software engineer in her flat.

On May 8, Hemanth Gowda, the suspect, barged into the flat of the woman who hails from Tamil Nadu and works at a reputed IT firm in the city, and attempted to molest her. He ran away when she raised an alarm.

The apartment owner requested her not to go to the police, saying the apartment’s reputation would be tarnished, but she filed the complaint. Police have arrested Gowda.
The apartment owner was upset by her police complaint and disclosed the incident to the media on Saturday. Police said they might take action against him for disclosing the victim’s identity.
