Ola cabbie misbehaves with woman, flees as she calls police

 An Ola driver reportedly misbehaved with a 31-year-old woman passenger and ran away after abandoning his cab on Saturday.

The woman had booked the cab in BTM Layout to travel to Domlur. She alighted opposite Motherhood hospital on CMR Road, Indiranagar 1st Stage, around 5.25 pm. While she was making payment, the driver reportedly misbehaved with her. But the woman didn’t take it lying down.

She immediately called the police control room and reported the matter. Seeing this, the driver just fled the spot, even abandoning his cab, DCP (East) N Satheesh Kumar said.  The jurisdictional Indiranagar police swung into action and formed a team to trace the driver who was identified as Kiran B B, 24, a native of Bandahalli village, Belur taluk in Hassan district. “We are verifying the driver’s antecedents and will arrest him soon,” Kumar said.
