JOIN USThe following traffic restrictions will be in place on May 15, between 6 am and 11 am, in view of the TCS World 10K Bangalore-2016.
Movement of all types of vehicles will be banned on the following stretches till the run concludes:
North side of Kasturba Road, MG Road, Webs Junction, between Ashirvadam Circle and SBI Junction (Old Madras Bank Road), west side of Dickenson Road, south side of Cubbon Road, Central Street (till Anil Kumble Circle), east side of Queen’s Road, Ambedkar Road and all roads inside Cubbon Park.
Vehicles from JC Road, which ply towards Vidhana Soudha, Shivajinagar and Raj Bhavan, can ply through police corner, KG Road, Old Post Office and KR Road to join Ambekdar Road.
Vehicles from KG Road and Nrupatunga Road, which ply towards Old Madras Road, MG Road, Halasur, Marathalli can ply through Hudson Circle, Devanga Road and Mission Road to reach Richmond flyover. Vehicles can ply on Residency Road, Cash Pharmacy and Opera Junction. Vehicles should take a right turn at Bengaluru Central and ply on Commissariat Road, take a left turn at Garuda Mall and ply further.
Vehicles from Shivajinagar can reach Balekundri Circle and ply on Cunningham Road, Chandrika Junction, LRDE Junction, Basaveshwara Junction and proceed further.
Vehicles from Balekundri Junction should compulsorily take a left turn at Traffic Headquarters Junction, ply on Infantry Road. Vehicles should also take a compulsory left turn at CTO Circle and ply on Cubbon Road, Manipal Centre and ply further.
Vehicles from MG Road, Trinity Circle, Mayo Hall Junction, Cauvery Emporium, Anil Kumble Circle should take a left turn at Queen’s Circle and ply on either Lavelle Road or Kasturba Road.
There will be no entry to BRV Circle for vehicles from Anil Kumble Circle and St Mark’s Road.
Tempo Travellers and goods vehicles from Old Madras Road which enter the city should ply on Suranjan Das Road, Old Airport Road and proceed further. The vehicles can join St John’s Road via Halasur lake and ply towards Cantonment Railway Station, Jayamahal Road and Mekhri Circle.
Vehicles from Minerva Circle on JC Road, which ply towards Shivajinagar, MG Road and Halasuru, should take a right turn at Bharath Junction on JC Road and ply on Siddaiah Road, Urvashi Theatre Junction, Kengal Hanumanthaiah Road and Richmond Circle.
Vehicles from Old Airport Road, Domlur and other areas can ply on ASC Circle, India Garage, D’Souza Circle and ply further.
There will be no parking on Kasturba Road, MG Road, Dickenson Road, Cubbon Road, Queen’s Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Dr Ambedkar Veedhi, Vittal Mallya Road, RRMR Road, all roads inside Cubbon Park and Infantry Road.
Vehicles from Adugodi on Hosur Road should take a left turn at Ashoknagar signal and ply on Richmond Circle, RRMR Circle to reach Majestic area and KR Market. The vehicles can ply on Museum Road, take a right turn at Ashirvadam Junction, ply on Opera Circle, take a right turn at Mayo Hall Junction, towards Garuda Mall, Hosmat Junction, Trinity Circle to join Shivajinagar.
