She has begun blogging, twittering and entered facebook to interact with the public. She has written her first blog on the floods and its aftereffects in north Karnataka. The second one is on ill-effect of endosulfan in Dakshina Kannada.
She has launched a website (shobhakarandlaje.com) which serves as one-stop to reach to websites of various service providers. It will be formally launched in Bangalore on Thursday by Infosys Chairperson Sudha Murthy.
The website has over 220 links to various government departments and universities. A separate window has been created to make voters of her constituency - Yeshwanthpur aware of LPG cylinders stock with the dealers.
The MLA’s office will upload the stock status everyday. Shobha said she would blog regularly and chat with those who reach her online once in a week. “I find this is an innovative and easy to keep people in touch,” she said.
