JOIN US A PIL has been filed before the High Court questioning the transfer of K Mathai who was working as the assistant commissioner (advertisement) in the BBMP.
The petitioner N P Amruthesh, an advocate, has sought directions to the state government to quash the transfer order dated April 27, 2016 by which Mathai was shunted out to the Upper Krishna project.
The petitioner has contended that Mathai was doing a good job and had earned revenue for the BBMP. He had come up with several plans to boost the revenue of the Palike.
According to the petitioner, the BBMP has not followed the circulars issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) while transferring Mathai.
A division bench comprising Justice S Abdul Nazeer and Justice G Narendar posted the matter after vacation.
