Love for law binds these Humanities toppers

Most of the city’s CBSE class 12 toppers in Humanities have one thing in common - a liking for law.

Riddhi Dhananjay Joshi has secured 94.6% to be on the top in the branch. Even as she scored a CGPA of 10 on 10 in her class 10 exams, Joshi chose to do what she is passionate about. “What is the point in studying science when I know I was interested in arts?” said a confident Joshi. She wishes to pursue either law or economics and preferably, law.

This girl draws her inspiration from her father Dhananjay Joshi, an advocate. A student of Delhi Public School, Bengaluru North, she has secured 95 marks each in History, Economics, Maths and Political Science and 93 in English. “I knew very well that last-minute preparations would not help. Hence, I prepared from the beginning,” she said.

During free time, Joshi plays sitar and participates in many debates. Kali Srikari Kancherla from Kumarans Schools has secured 94.4% in Humanities. It was a drive within herself to make her parents proud that pushed her to score well.

“I have written my CLAT exam, hoping to get into NLSIU,” she said.Eshani Ashutosh Vaidya secured 94.4 in the exam.  A student from Delhi Public School, South, she took up Humanities as she was passionate about law. She has scored 95 each in Economics, Political Science, Legal Studies and History and 92 in English.
 
Among the other toppers are Nikita Kishore, who has scored 97.6% (Science) from National Public School and Harshitha S (Science) from Sri Chaitanya Techno School. She has secured 97.8%. The topper in Commerce - Vishal B S from NPS - has secured 95.6%. Mayank Jain from Delhi Public School has secured 96.4%.
