The summer always comes with a bag of woes and our feet bear the brunt of it. No matter how much you moisturise it, it keeps turning dry and sometimes cracked. However, a little care can go a long way to putting your best foot forward. 

*The soak remedy:

Take a large bowl or bucket with warm water and soak your feet in it for about 15 to 20 minutes. You can also add salt to the warm water and let your feet rest. You can do it as often as you can, especially after a long day at work. 

*Citrus flavour: Lemon juice works as a wonderful therapy for your feet. Make a mixture with a teaspoon of Vaseline and lemon juice. Apply it on your feet and cracked area. Let it absorb into the skin. 

*Sweet touch: The use of rosewater with fresh lemon juice as a mixture will help lighten the weight of your feet and keep yourself moving.

*Sock up: Even though the weather doesn't always allow it, try to wear socks as often as you can. Apply the above mixtures before you head to bed and wear socks with it. 

*Oil massage: Oil acts as one of the best moisturiser for your skin. You can use anything from coconut oil to almond oil from sesame oil. It is a great foot remedy.

*Everyday touch: Simple things you do on a daily basis can help you walk a long way. Drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated. Try to use baby oil instead of the other ones. Wear the right fitting shoes so that your feet can breathe. Use only mild soaps while bathing.
