Bridging the gap


Ananya is presenting Nrithya Dhare 5 on June 6 and 7 at Seva Sadana, Malleswaram. Nritya Dhaare was conceived with the aim of providing a platform for talented young artists by giving them a chance to perform and interact with senior gurus, thereby bridging the gap
between the generations.

The event will be inaugurated on June 6 by Minal Prabhu. The inaugural day will feature performances by Aishwarya Rathan (Bharatanatyam) disciple of Guru Vasanta Vedam, Rasmi Raj (Odissi) disciple of  Guru Gangadhar Pradhan, Bijoyini Sathpaty and Surupa Sen and Archana Punyesh (Kuchupudi), disciple of Guru Dharani T Kashyap.

Nandini Mehta will be the guest of honour on June 7, featuring Ajay Vishwanath (Bharatanatyam) disciple of  Guru Lalitha Srinivasan, Vinaya Manoj (Mohiniattam), disciple of Guru Bharathi Shivaji and Arpita Banerjee (Kathak) disciple of  Guru Murali Mohan and Guru Nandini Mehta. The programme is open to all.
