A press release from the department said that a team including scientists has been formed to spread awareness among the potato growers on modern cultivation techniques and precautions, since there is fear of disease breaking out in potatoes too.
This team has already spread awareness on various modern farming techniques and precationary measures to ward off diseases in crops in regions like Bikanahalli, Hampapura, Kempanahalli, Karkipete, Ayyanahalli, Balehalli, Arishinaguppe, Allampura, Dasarahalli, Mallenahalli, Ningenahalli, Theguru, Malalur, K R Pete, Kambihalli, Biggadevanahalli, Ambale, Bilekallu, Kuruvangi, Nettekerenahalli, Hariharadahalli, Ramnalli, Hosakote, Marle, Magadi Muguluvalli and Karthikere.
