JOIN USThe Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will issue passes to students of professional courses, postgraduation and evening colleges from Monday.
The passes will be issued on all the working days (excluding Sundays and holidays) from 8 am to 5 pm at 35 centres across the city. In order to ensure that students do not skip their classes for obtaining passes, the BMTC has made arrangements for issue of passes from 6.30 am to 9 pm at Kempegowda bus station, TTMCs at Banashankari, Yeshwantpur, Vijayanagar, Jayanagar and Kengeri and at Kalyanagara bus stop.
Students should produce original fee paid receipt, identity card issued by the college, two recent passport size photographs and a xerox of Aadhaar card (if available) to obtain the pass, a press release said.
