Speaking after inaugurating “Vikas Sankalp Utsav” he said the government is ready to offer various concessions to investors willing to set up industries in the State.

The government had planned to organise the meet in January this year in Bangalore, but due to global recession, it was postponed indefinitely.

The chief minister said the government will soon prepare a blueprint for the development and transformation of the State into a model one in the next four years.

“The State has been facing severe power supply crisis. The governments in the past had done little to generate power, but in the last one year, steps have been taken to generate 5,000 MW of power in coming days, Yeddyurappa added.

Cooperation needed

Yeddyurappa said the State now has four union ministers. Their support and cooperation to the State government will go a long way in developing the State. In this direction, the chief minister said, he will hold a meeting with all-party MPs from the State in Delhi shortly. He also sought the cooperation of the officials.

Before arriving at the venue, the chief minister visited the residence of Union Minister Veerappa Moily and Mallikarjun Kharge. He greeted them on becoming union ministers.
