JOIN USA fine all-round show by Sri Kiran spurred Shree Swamy Narayan Gurukul to a 184-run victory over Stracey Memorial High School in the under-16 Group III inter-school tournament for the KSCA Cup.
After a reduction in overs due to the wet outfield, Shree Swamy posted a massive 291 for five in 27 overs. Kiran did the bulk of scoring with a knock of 144.
With a difficult chase at hand, Stracey buckled and were bundled out for 107 in 25 overs. It was Kiran (3/10) who starred once again, but this time with ball. He found an able ally in Rishik, who ended with figures of two for 14.
In another fixture, Jayanth picked up six for 19 as he helped Ryan International School, Bannerghatta to a comfortable five-wicket victory over Ravi International School.
