Parrikar's Aamir remark slammed

The Rajya Sabha on Monday witnessed a row over Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar’s comment against actor Aamir Khan that he should be taught a lesson.

At a book launch in Pune, Parrikar referred to Aamir Khan’s statement on the insecurity of his wife in an environment of growing “intolerance” in the country and said, without taking any name, the actor needed to be taught a lesson. 

Parrikar, however, denied the allegation and said, “I have not taken anyone’s name. I did not threaten anyone. Let them see the video themselves and make up their mind.”
