JOIN USA 24-year-old man committed suicide at his Sadduguntepalya house in Mico Layout on Sunday night. The deceased, identified as Veeresh, is a native of Magadi and worked as an office assistant at Bamul Central Office in the city.
Veeresh was in love with his married colleague, who had rejected his marriage proposal. The two had fought over the issue a week ago. Senior officers had also warned him of disciplinary action for creating trouble in the workplace. On Sunday too, both of them fought over the same issue and Veeresh was scolded by his seniors, said the police. Veeresh returned home and hanged himself from a ceiling fan. His friend who came to meet him later in the evening broke open the door since there was no response from inside and found the body hanging from the ceiling, the police added. Police said there was no death note.
