JOIN USA moneylender was stabbed to death inside his car at Madanayakanahalli in the early hours of Monday. Harish, 32, was a resident of Janivar village in Kunigal taluk, said the police.
A car was parked near St Mary’s School in Devannanapalya on National Highway 4. A few locals sensing something amiss went near the car to verify. They could not make out who was inside the car due to the tinted windshield. They informed the police.
The police rushed to the spot and broke open the windshield. Harish was found murdered on the driver’s seat, said the police. The police suspected involvement of persons known to the victim in the murder. There is a bar close to the school.
The police suspected drunken brawl before the murder. It is not known if the victim was murdered in some other place and the body was dumped inside the car at Devannanapalya.
