Another tusker dies in Malavalli

According to Forest Department officials, the pachyderm may have died five to six days ago. The body was highly decomposed. The officials removed a pair of tusks from the body. Dr M P Chandrashekar, who conducted the postmortem, opined that the elephant may have died of some disease. Divisional Forest Officer Vinaykumar visited the spot. The elephant is the fourth to have died in the area over the last one year.
