Shubhang’s six for 70 helped DPS (South) dismiss Holy Saint for 169 in 56.1 overs in their first innings.
DPS then rode on half-centuries from Gautam D (83), Varun R (76) and Shubhang (59) to declare at 324 for nine in 79.1 overs and gain a first innings lead of 155 runs.
Shubhang then claimed a five-wicket haul (5/50) as Holy Saint batsmen were bundled out for 132 in 31 overs. The convincing win handed DPS five points while Holy Saint received one point.
In the other game, St Joseph’s High School defeated Jain Heritage by 190 runs to claim five points.
