Ganapathi case: former hockey captain quizzed

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) sleuths on Monday questioned former captain of the Indian Hockey team M P Ganesh in connection with the suicide case of DySP M K Ganapathi.

Ganesh was close to Ganapathi and ADGP, A M Prasad. Hence, the police had summoned him for questioning. IGP (CID) Hemanth Nimbalkar questioned him for over one hour, said the police.

Ganesh was present when Ganapathi and Prasad had an argument during the former’s stint in the Intelligence Wing. The sleuths questioned Ganesh about the incident.
