'Transparency, compassion is expected from professionals'

Delivering the graduation address at the 6th graduation day of Yenepoya Medical College, he said “Graduating is not getting a degree but it’s a profession. Graduates should have positive attitude while at their professional exposure”.

Vice Chancellor of Yenepoya University Prof Syed Akheel Ahmed said that 21st century is the age of challenges. “In this scenario, everyone should participate in the process of development of the country. India should be contributed by the graduates with upkept harmony among all the citizens,” he added. Principal of Yenepoya Medical College Dr Ghulam Jeelani Qadiri presented the one year report of progressive works that took place in the college. Chancellor of Yenepoya University Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi presided.

Dr Dave handed over the graduation certificates. Dr Neelam Puthran administered the oath to the graduates. Pooja Doddikoppad received the Certificate of Excellence as best outgoing graduate for the year 2009. Registrar of Yenepoya University Dr K Janardhan, Yenepoya Dental College Principal Dr B H Sripathi Rao and others were present.
