Inspector General of Police (IGP), Central, Seemanthkumar Singh called upon the 7th batch of women constables to discharge their duities effectively and efficiently and not to worry about the plum postings. He said this addressing the gathering after the impressive passing out parade of 7th batch of women police constables at DAR grounds here on Tuesday.

If you start start worrying for the postings of your choice, you cannot discharge your duties effectively, the IGP said. He advised the trainees to excel during their service and be prepared to face the challenges and move up the ladder within the force.

"I haven't seen such an immaculately organised passing out parade. The trainers have done a commendable job in making the women constables battle-ready," he said. Additional Superintendent of Police G B Manjunath, reading out a report, said, “The training had begun on March 1. As many as 120 women constables from various districts including Koppal, Yadgir, Gadag, Mysuru, Bengaluru Rural among others, have successfully passed out from training centre.
