ATM at BBMP head office out of cash

An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) inside the BBMP head office was among the long-pending demand of the Palike officers, employees, corporators, contractors and regular visitors.

Two days ago, the wish was finally fulfilled when the Canara Bank started its e-lounge inside the Palike premises. However, a notice of ‘No cash’ has been pasted on the e-lounge from day one.

Reacting to the cash crunch in the newly-opened ATM, a Palike officer said the Canara Bank should have postponed setting up of e-lounge till the cash supply is normalised.
