JOIN US Anish Giri produced a brilliant all-round performance as Gopalan National School thumped Carmel High School (Basaveshwarnagar) by 203 runs and entered the semifinals of the KSCA under-14, Division II tournament for the BTR Shield here.
In their last eight tie, Gopalan rode on Anish’s 138 and half-centuries from Mitul Bhat (75) and Pratyush G (62) to post a strong 337 for five in 50 overs.
Anish then bagged a five for 37 to help Gopalan bundle out Carmel HS for 134 in 34.3 overs.
