Narrow escape for kids as bus crashes into electricity pole

At least 25 students of a private school had a narrow escape when their school bus got stuck in a pothole and crashed into an electricity pole at Hurugalli in Bidadi around 8.30 am on Saturday.

The front windshield of the bus was shattered, but no casualties were reported. Police said a few students sustained minor bruises and were discharged as outpatients from a nearby private hospital.

The driver, attender and students seated on the front seats escaped unhurt, while a few seated in the rear, sustained injuries due to the impact of the collision. School authorities were immediately informed but no complaint was lodged.
