French woman searches for her Indian roots

A French resident is in Bengaluru to search the roots of her family tree and, also to expand her business.

Diana Ramaswamy, a resident of Martinique, is a delegate to the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. She wants to find out more of her self. Speaking to journalists here, she said she wants to visit Puducherry to trace her family roots. She is also planning to visit Chikkamagaluru to learn more about coffee plantation and Hallibere estate in Kodagu, which is managed by an all-women group, to expand her coffee plantation business back home.

Diana practices and teaches yoga in Martinique and, plans to learn more on this in Coimbatore.
